Westchester Medical Center Welcomes Obstetrician- Gynecologist Julia Keltz, MD, to Hospital’s Medical Staff

VALHALLA, N.Y. (September 19, 2017) – Westchester Medical Center, the flagship of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), recently welcomed obstetrician-gynecologist Julia Keltz, MD, to the hospital's medical staff.

n her new role, Dr. Keltz will direct efforts in advancing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, as well as outpatient care of complex benign gynecologic conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, adenomyosis and abnormal uterine bleeding.

Dr. Keltz is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon who brings to Westchester Medical Center expertise in pelvic pain and minimally invasive surgery with a specialty in robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, vaginal surgery and hysteroscopy, as well as office-based procedures.

In caring for her patients, Dr. Keltz's philosophy is to treat all of her patients the way that she would treat a family member, and she is passionate about working with women to manage their medical challenges.

Dr. Keltz earned her medical degree with distinction in research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, where she also completed a Clinical Research Certificate and a Certificate in Public Health. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Society from the University of Rochester. Prior to joining Westchester Medical Center, Dr. Keltz completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University Langone Medical Center and a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Born and raised in Westchester County, Dr. Keltz enjoys hiking, being outdoors and spending time with family in her free time.
